Weather & Refund Protection

Tournament registration fees are non-refundable due to the upfront operational costs associated with scheduling, staffing, field rentals, officials, and event preparation.

To help protect teams financially, optional Event Cancellation Team Coverage is available through ViCoverage, powered by Vertical Insure.

This optional protection helps reimburse covered teams when unsafe weather conditions result in canceled or shortened tournament play. Reimbursements are calculated based on games played versus games guaranteed.

This added protection allows teams to participate with greater confidence, knowing their registration investment may be protected if weather disrupts competition.

Example:

If your team registers for a 3-game guarantee tournament and only 1 game is completed before weather conditions make fields unsafe or unplayable, covered teams may be eligible for reimbursement for the 2 games not played.

If the tournament is canceled before any games begin, covered teams may be eligible for up to a 100% refund of the registration fee.

Covered weather-related conditions may include:

• Heavy rain or flooding
• Lightning
• Hurricanes or tornadoes
• Extreme heat
• Smoke or poor air quality
• Other unsafe playing conditions
